Eagle

Isaiah 40: 28-31
Have you not known? Have you not heard?
The LORD is the everlasting God,
the Creator of the ends of the earth.
He does not faint or grow weary;
his understanding is unsearchable.
He gives power to the faint,
and to him who has no might he increases strength.
Even youths shall faint and be weary,
and young men shall fall exhausted;
but they who wait for the LORD shall renew their strength;
they shall mount up with wings like eagles;
they shall run and not be weary;
they shall walk and not faint.
Are you spending time with people who build you up rather than tear you down? Do the people you hang out with encourage and challenge you to be the best you can be? Let’s learn to spend time with people who inspire us to reach our goals. If we associate with successful people, before long their enthusiasm will be contagious and we will catch their vision. Successful people are mostly those people who are very positive in what they do even though it may be tough. The people who make it in life are those who are focused and do things in line with their vision. Staying around such people will develop a winning mind-set. For example, If we hang around people of faith, our own faith will increase.
It’s time we soar with the eagles rather than pecking around with chickens. When there is a storm, all the small birds hide but the eagle is the only one that has flown above the storm. What is your storm today? Trust in the Lord and don’t worry about the situation. When we do our part continually contemplating the goodness of God, living with faith and expectancy, God will take us to places we have never dreamt of.
